Senior Consultant RPA

Our client is a growing consulting business that helps organisations improve processes and deliver technology-enabled change across automation, AI and digital transformation.

They are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant who can provide dependable oversight across multiple client engagements while remaining close enough to the detail to step into business analysis or project delivery when required.

This is a genuine “get the job done” role rather than a narrowly defined Business Analyst or Project Manager position. You will move comfortably between strategic client conversations, detailed requirements analysis, delivery coordination and commercial support.

Working closely with the business leaders, you will become a trusted extension of their leadership - taking broad direction, applying sound judgement and driving work forward.

The initial appointment will be a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the potential to transition into an ongoing position.

What you’ll be responsible for

• Maintaining visibility across active projects, including progress, risks, blockers, client actions and next steps
• Acting as a credible and dependable point of contact for clients throughout delivery
• Translating client needs into clear direction for onshore and offshore Business Analysts, AI engineers, RPA developers and software teams
• Coordinating priorities, dependencies and actions across distributed delivery teams
• Leading discovery workshops, process analysis, requirements definition and solution shaping
• Managing smaller projects or workstreams, including planning, risks, priorities and delivery reporting
• Reviewing requirements and deliverables to ensure the team’s interpretation accurately reflects the client’s intent
• Removing or escalating blockers and ensuring accountability remains clear
• Supporting proposals, identifying follow-on opportunities and helping grow trusted client relationships
• Reducing reliance on senior leadership for routine delivery decisions and questions

About you

You are a pragmatic and adaptable consultant who combines strong business analysis capability with the confidence to coordinate delivery and lead client conversations.

You will bring:

• Strong business analysis and process improvement experience, including discovery, process mapping and complex requirements definition
• Demonstrated experience coordinating projects or workstreams across risks, actions, dependencies and priorities
• Working knowledge of automation, RPA or AI-enabled delivery
• The ability to communicate confidently with both senior business stakeholders and technical specialists
• Experience translating business needs into clear, actionable direction for delivery teams
• Confidence working across onshore and offshore teams while maintaining context and quality through handovers
• Strong judgement, accountability and the ability to turn broad direction into tangible outcomes
• A willingness to work across role boundaries and step directly into delivery when needed

Consulting or professional services experience will be highly regarded, particularly if you have worked in a smaller or growing organisation where priorities move quickly and individuals contribute beyond a narrow position description.

Experience supporting proposals, recognising additional opportunities or growing client accounts through trusted delivery would also be valuable.
