Warehouse & Production Manager – Aluminium Windows & Doors \n

Established manufacturer of aluminium windows and doors servicing commercial and residential projects across South East Queensland.

\n

We are looking for a practical, organised and hands‑on Warehouse & Production Manager to lead our factory team of approximately 5 production staff .

\n

This is not a desk-based management position. You will be actively involved on the factory floor, working alongside the team while taking responsibility for production scheduling, stock, workflow, quality and factory efficiency.

The Role \n

You will be responsible for ensuring the factory has the people, materials and information required to keep production moving efficiently and jobs delivered on time .

\n

Key responsibilities include:

\n

• Lead and coordinate a team of approximately 5-6 production staff
\n
• Plan and schedule daily and weekly factory production
\n
• Allocate work and monitor job progress
\n
• Ensure jobs are manufactured to programme and required deadlines
\n
• Check incoming aluminium, glass, hardware and other materials
\n
• Ensure stock and materials are available before jobs enter production
\n
• Identify material shortages early and communicate purchasing requirements
\n
• Coordinate stock levels, warehouse organisation and incoming deliveries
\n
• Read and understand fabrication and production documentation
\n
• Monitor quality throughout the manufacturing process
\n
• Identify production bottlenecks and implement practical solutions
\n
• Improve factory workflow, productivity and efficiency
\n
• Reduce material waste, rework and unnecessary labour
\n
• Maintain an organised, clean and safe factory
\n
• Work closely with Project Management, Estimating and Purchasing
\n
• Remain hands‑on and assist the production team when required
\n

About You \n

We are looking for someone who enjoys running a factory from the floor , not from behind a desk.

\n

Ideally, you will have:

\n

\n
• Experience supervising or leading a manufacturing or production team
\n
• Strong production scheduling and organisational skills
\n
• A practical, hands‑on approach to leadership
\n
• Good understanding of stock control and material management
\n
• Ability to identify problems and implement practical solutions
\n
• Strong focus on productivity, quality and meeting deadlines
\n
• Good communication and people management skills
\n
• Strong attention to detail
\n
• A commitment to workplace safety
\n
• Experience with aluminium windows and doors, fabrication, glazing or similar manufacturing would be highly regarded
\n
• Knowledge of Alspec and Ezial systems would be an advantage
\n

\n

You don't necessarily need to currently hold a Production Manager title.

\n

If you are an experienced Factory Supervisor, Leading Hand, Production Supervisor or Window & Door Fabricator who has naturally taken responsibility for organising people, materials and production, we would be interested in speaking with you.

Jobs are scheduled, materials are ready, the team knows what they are doing, quality is maintained, problems are identified early, waste is reduced and finished products leave the factory on time.
