We are currently recruiting for a Security and Logistics Manager (Grade 9/10) for our client, a NSW Government agency based in Parramatta. This is a 12 month contract opportunity supporting one of Sydney's most significant public infrastructure and cultural projects. The role offers a 35-hour working week, with an on-call component, applicable allowance, and occasional evening or weekend work when operational requirements arise. Working within a complex, public-facing environment, you will lead security operations, emergency management planning, contract management and logistics functions, while playing a key role in preparations for the opening of a major new precinct.

The Opportunity

The Opportunity This role has become available to provide cover during a period of parental leave and will be instrumental in supporting operational readiness activities leading up to a major precinct opening. While Parramatta will be your primary focus, there may be opportunities to provide support across additional sites as required., + Lead emergency management planning, preparedness and response activities.

To be successful in this role, you will bring significant experience in security management and emergency management within large, complex environments. You will be recognised as a subject matter expert in security operations and have a strong understanding of risk management, incident response and contract management. You will also possess:

Leadership Experience This role requires strong people leadership capabilities. You will typically oversee teams of approximately 20-30 personnel, with responsibility for larger teams of up to 50 staff during major events and operational activities.
