• Position title: Assistant Principal Religious Education (APRE)
• Location: St Joseph's Catholic Primary School, CHILDERS
• Start date: 18 January, 2027
• Work hours: 30 hours per week (APRE release 0.4 + Teaching 0.6)
• Salary: $149,763 - $157,120 + super
• Status: This is a substantive 5 year appointment as APRE (with a further 5 years offer subject to a positive review), plus an underlying continuing teaching status

Brisbane Catholic Education (BCE) invites applications for this School Senior Leadership position with the capability to support the Principal in:

About You

• Experience as an Assistant Principal, Assistant Principal Religious Education, Deputy Principal, Head of Campus or Principal, or a senior role providing support and leadership to Catholic schools, or equivalent experience
• Experience in teaching, and leading the teaching of, religious education.

Eligibility And Safeguarding Requirements

• Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
• Current registration with Queensland College of Teachers (QCT)
• For this position you are required to be Catholic (or a faith partner of one of our ecumenical schools).
