Construction project management experience is essential for this position.

We're looking for an organised, customer focused Project Delivery Manager to join our Workshop Operations team.

About the Role

This is a hands-on project coordination role where you’ll be responsible for keeping projects moving from planning and design through to procurement, construction, installation and completion.

You’ll work closely with customers, project managers, designers, suppliers, contractors, technicians and internal teams to ensure everyone understands what needs to happen, when it needs to happen and who is responsible.

Importantly, previous construction project management experience is essential for this role. This isn't a general administration or coordination position we're looking for someone who understands the realities of delivering projects in a construction environment and can confidently manage the detail, stakeholders, timelines and issues that come with it.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Coordinate multiple construction and equipment installation projects from commencement through to completion.
• Support project planning, scheduling, procurement and delivery activities.
• Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, technicians and internal resources.
• Monitor project timelines, milestones, costs and deliverables.
• Coordinate site access, inductions, permits, equipment hire and other site requirements.
• Manage project documentation, quotations, purchase orders, drawings, reports and correspondence.
• Work with customers to confirm project requirements, communicate progress and manage expectations.
• Coordinate design reviews and approvals with customers and relevant stakeholders.
• Identify project risks, delays and issues and proactively work to resolve them.
• Escalate issues when required and keep project stakeholders informed.
• Coordinate materials and equipment to ensure everything required for site works is available when needed.
• Assist with programming and coordinating installation and commissioning activities.
• Work closely with Project Managers to ensure projects remain on track.
• Maintain accurate project records and ensure project systems are kept up to date.
• Support project handover and completion activities.
• Help identify opportunities to improve project delivery processes and customer experience.

About You

We're looking for an organised, proactive and practical Project Delivery Manager who enjoys getting things done.

You will have:

• Demonstrated construction project management experience is essential.
• Experience coordinating construction, engineering, infrastructure, facilities or similar projects.
• Experience managing projects from planning through to construction, installation and completion.
• Experience coordinating contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.Strong understanding of construction project timelines, site requirements and dependencies.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
• A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Confidence communicating with customers, contractors, technicians and internal stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• A practical, solutions-focused mindset and willingness to get involved when things need to be resolved.
