\n As Emerging Businesses Lead, you'll play a hands-on role in shaping, testing and progressing new growth opportunities that align to RACQ's long-term strategic ambitions.
\n This is a unique opportunity to turn ideas into action by designing pilots, working through operational challenges and proving what can scale.

About the role \n

As Emerging Businesses Lead, you'll help move opportunities from concept to pilot to scale, combining strong commercial judgement with practical delivery discipline.
\n Key responsibilities include:

\n

\n
• Shaping new growth opportunities into clear test plans, pilots and delivery pathways.
\n
• Leading experiments and pilots that test member value, commercial potential, operational fit and readiness to scale.
\n
• Building the measures, governance and decision points needed to know when to continue, change course, pause or scale.
\n
• Working with internal teams, partners and suppliers to remove blockers and get initiatives into market.
\n
• Translating insight, member research and commercial analysis into practical offers, trials and operating models.
\n
• Owning targeted initiatives within the Emerging Businesses portfolio and delivering visible progress against agreed outcomes.
\n

About you \n

You're a commercially minded builder who can turn an opportunity into a clear test, bring people with you and get practical work delivered.
\n You’ll bring:

\n

\n
• Experience testing, piloting or launching new businesses, products, services or partnerships.
\n
• A track record of progressing ideas through ambiguity and turning them into measurable outcomes.
\n
• Strong commercial judgement, with the ability to test assumptions, manage trade-offs and make practical recommendations.
\n
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills.
\n

\n

A delivery mindset: resourceful, organised and able to work across RACQ to unblock issues and keep momentum.

\n

\n
• Comfort with test-and-learn ways of working, including defining success measures, capturing lessons and adapting quickly.
\n
• Degree qualified in Business, Commerce or a related discipline, with extensive relevant experience.
\n
