As we continue to strengthen our safety culture and invest in modern systems and technology, we are seeking a Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Systems Coordinator to join our Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) team and help implement continuous improvement across our operations.**The Role**Reporting to the HSEQ Manager, the HSE Systems Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) management systems. Based in either Brisbane or Sydney, this role will be supporting the integration of a newly acquired business.

This is a permanent full-time position responsible for ensuring our safety systems remain effective, compliant, and user-friendly while delivering meaningful reporting and insights that support safer workplaces across the business. The role works closely with operational leaders, safety professionals, and external service providers to improve system functionality, compliance outcomes, and data-driven decision-making.

Occasional interstate travel may be required to support safety projects across the Group.**Key Responsibilities*** Maintain and continuously improve WHS management systems, ensuring reliability, usability, and compliance.* Manage system access, user permissions, data integrity, and security across safety platforms.* Produce compliance reports, audit documentation, safety dashboards, and performance insights.* Support incident reporting, ISO management systems, and regulatory compliance requirements.* Maintain safety documentation, policies, procedures, and document control processes.* Provide system support and guidance to users across the business.* Partner with operational leaders and external providers to enhance safety systems and reporting capability.* Contribute to initiatives that improve safety performance and strengthen safety culture.**About You**You are a technically capable and detail-oriented professional who enjoys working with systems, data, and stakeholders to improve safety outcomes and business performance.**Experience & Qualifications*** Experience in a WHS, compliance, systems coordination, or similar role.* Working knowledge of WHS legislation, management systems, and audit processes.* Experience supporting accredited management systems will be highly regarded.* Full Australian working rights and willingness to travel occasionally as required.**Skills & Attributes*** Strong systems administration, reporting, and process improvement capabilities.* Advanced Microsoft Office skills and strong digital literacy.* Experience with SharePoint, Power BI and/or DoneSafe is highly desirable and will be strongly regarded.* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide meaningful insights.* Excellent written communication and document management skills.* Ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.* Proactive, organised, and solutions-focused, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement.**What We Offer**At Heidelberg Materials Australia, we invest in our people because we know they are the foundation of our success.**You'll enjoy:*** Competitive salary package.* Mobile phone and laptop provided.* Genuine career development opportunities within a national organisation.* Access to learning and development programs.* Supportive and collaborative team environment.* Employee recognition and reward programs.* Health and wellbeing initiatives.* Employee discounts and benefits program.* The opportunity to contribute to meaningful safety improvements across a diverse national business.* A workplace committed to inclusion, safety, and continuous improvement.
