BlueCare | Chef | Carbrook Aged Care FacilityEmployment Term: Permanent full-time (Mon-Fri)Location: Carbrook Aged Care FacilityRemuneration: $31.44 per hour + Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging + Penalties & AllowancesMake a meaningful difference with BlueCareWe’re looking for someone who wants to build meaningful relationships and make a difference in the lives of others -through small moments that leave big impacts.About the role:This is a great opportunity for a Chef aiming to restore their work life balance and gain employment in one of Australia’s fastest growing industries with the following tasks:Prepare, cook and serve food in adherence with dietary requirements with a strong focus on food safety standardsSupport senior hospitality staff members with menu design and implementationPromote quality standards and maintain service with standard operating proceduresRole requirements:As a Chef, you’ll take pride in your presentation, be knowledgeable in relation to nutrition and have a keen interest on the impact of dietary requirements on our aged residents.You will have proven experience in safe food preparation, storage and delivery, a clear understanding of WHS, be confident in medium-high volume meal preparation and demonstrate the following:Hold a relevant trade qualification, eg.
