Where you'll be working

Northern Beaches Hospital - Ward 4B Ward 4B delivers high-quality care to patients with acute and chronic cardiac and respiratory conditions. It is a 36 bed ward consisting of 6 dedicated beds for CCU and 30 high acuity medical beds with a cardiac and respiratory focus.

What you'll be doing

As an Assistant in Nursing, you will provide high-quality support to patients and assist Registered Nurses and the wider healthcare team in delivering safe, compassionate, and person-centred care. You will play an important role in supporting patients with their daily living activities while promoting dignity, comfort, and independence.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

• Currently enrolled in second or third year of a Bachelor of Nursing or degree deemed appropriate
• current enrolment in Diploma of Nursing (HLT54121) with evidence of completion of Block 1
• completion of HLT33115 Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (Assisting in Nursing Work in Acute Care)
• Demonstrated, effective written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team.
