GPC has over 8,000 employees in Asia Pacific and more than 60,000 globally, with well-known brands like Repco, NAPA, AMX, and Motion Industries. **About The Role**Are you a technically capable **Data Analyst** who enjoys building reliable reporting, improving data quality and turning complex data into meaningful insights?APG is seeking a technical Data Analyst to design, develop and maintain enterprise reporting, data models and analytical solutions that support business performance.Reporting to the Head of IT Applications and Data, based out of **Brendale, QLD**, you will partner with the Business Analyst and stakeholders across the business to deliver accurate, scalable and timely data solutions.You will play a key role in strengthening APG’s data governance, reporting standards and system capability.**You will:*** Design, build and maintain scalable data models, semantic layers, Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.* Develop and optimise SQL queries, views, DAX measures and data-transformation logic to deliver accurate, reliable reporting.* Partner with stakeholders and the Business Analyst to translate business requirements, KPIs and data needs into practical technical solutions.* Maintain data quality, master-data governance and reporting consistency across APG systems.* Deliver forecasting tools, automated reporting and analytical solutions that support business performance.* Support system upgrades, integrations and implementations, including testing, validation and user acceptance testing.* Identify and deliver continuous-improvement opportunities across systems, reporting frameworks and business processes.* Maintain clear technical documentation for data models, reporting logic and key calculations.**About You:**You will bring:* Experience in Technical Data Analysis, Business Intelligence development, reporting projects or system-improvement roles.* Strong capability in SQL, data modelling and data transformation.* Experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI, including DAX and semantic models.* An understanding of master data, data governance, data quality and reporting frameworks.* Experience working with ERP, warehouse management or operational business systems.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.* Effective stakeholder engagement and communication skills.* A continuous-improvement mindset and ability to work across multiple business functions.* Aligned to our values: **Customer First, Smart Service, Teamwork and Safe for All****Benefits*** *APG 'Me' Day: A paid, flexible day for team members to use as they wish.** *Paid Parental Leave: Newly introduced paid parental leave for permanent employees.** *Training: Comprehensive training, support, and resources provided.** *Business Perks: Exclusive discounts with retailers like Woolworths, JB HIFI, Caltex, and Hoyts Cinemas.** *Events: Regular team catch-ups, monthly events, and annual awards.** *Wellbeing: Free, confidential Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for you and your family, including financial and legal counselling.** *Diversity: A diverse team with varying ages, nationalities, abilities, and cultures.** *Security: A 30-year strong and growing business.***About The Work Environment:** Now is the perfect time to join our dynamic team as we focus on continuous improvement, technology, and safety.
