About the Role

\n

MSS Security is looking for a Full Time FIFO Security Officer - Reliever to work at our prestigious client site in Weipa . In this role the successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, access control, and issue of ID cards.The position is 7 on 7 off, days and nights, with the possibility of staying up to 14 days in the field.

Duties include but are not limited to:

\n

\n
• Conduct mobile/foot patrols including lockup and unlock activities of infrastructure and gates
\n
• Conduct visitor/permit holder inductions and generate and issue access card’s
\n
• Manage and perform bag and vehicle searches to identify prohibited, restricted unauthorised items
\n
• Monitor CCTV visual displays to manage and identify unauthorized access
\n
• Security support activities at client supplied camp accommodation
\n

Skills & Experience

\n

\n
• Full Australian working rights.
\n
• Current QLD Security licence with Unarmed, Crowd Control and Monitoring functions
\n
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate
\n
• Full QLD drivers’ licence
\n
• Intermediate computer skills
\n
• Availability to work a 7 on 7 off roster, days and nights, with the possibility of staying up to 14 days in the field when required.
