As the Material Officer for Austal Defence Australia (ADA), you'll be responsible for the Material Management Lead for the accurate and timely provision of routine codification and maintenance of inventory catalogue data.

What's Involved

\n

\n
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders
\n
• Enact codification policy, processes, and procedures and workflows within Austal
\n
• Provide obsolescence support through Supply Chain Obsolescence surveillance coordination and assessments
\n
• Assist with the development of the Stocktaking Plan and coordination within asset management systems
\n
• Maintain up-to-date part catalogue information
\n
• Analyse material requirements and planning information
\n
• Review and release auto-generated material requisitions against demand requirements
\n

\n

You'll Need

\n

\n
• 5+ years' experience in a similar role within Marine Support, Engineering, Manufacturing or Defence organisation
\n
• Working experience in a computerised ERP environment
\n
• Experience with, and understanding of, asset management standards, systems and processes
\n
• Experience with, understanding of codification and cataloguing
\n
• Ability to achieve engineering delegation within the Austal delegation procedures
\n
