At Gallagher, we're combining practical innovation with cutting-edge technology to solve real-world challenges. As part of Gallagher's Animal Management business, eShepherd has developed virtual fencing technology that is transforming livestock management globally.
Using GPS-enabled, solar-powered collars, farmers can remotely manage livestock without the need for traditional fencing, improving productivity while supporting better environmental and animal welfare outcomes.
We're looking for an Electronics Engineer to join our Melbourne-based eShepherd team and help develop the next generation of products behind this rapidly expanding technology platform.
This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll contribute across the entire product development lifecycle, from concept and circuit design through to prototyping, testing, validation and production.
Working within a multidisciplinary team, you'll help create robust electronic solutions that perform reliably in challenging real-world environments. You'll collaborate closely with software, mechanical, product and manufacturing teams to bring innovative ideas to life and deliver products used by customers around the world.
This is an opportunity to work on technology that combines electronics, embedded systems, connectivity and IoT while seeing your work move quickly from concept into commercial deployment.
Experience working with IoT devices, battery-powered products, embedded systems, wireless communications or ruggedised hardware environments will be highly regarded.
You’ll join a team developing technology that is making a meaningful difference for customers around the world.
