South Australia Police is undertaking a significant transformation of its enterprise risk, compliance and assurance capability.

\n

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced leader to help shape and deliver that vision.

\n

As the Manager, Risk, Compliance & Assurance, you will lead the development and implementation of SAPOL's enterprise risk, compliance, assurance and business continuity programs, helping to build a more resilient, accountable and forward-looking organisation. You will work at the intersection of strategy, governance and organisational performance, influencing decision-making at all levels and helping SAPOL navigate an increasingly complex operating environment.

You will play a pivotal leadership role in delivering SAPOL's integrated risk, compliance and assurance strategy while leading a high-performing team of specialists committed to continuous improvement and organisational excellence.

You bring a practical and collaborative approach to leadership, along with the ability to build strong relationships, support others to succeed and provide sound advice in complex situations. You are equally comfortable rolling up your sleeves to solve problems, mentoring team members and working with stakeholders to improve organisational capability.

• Risk assessment and risk reporting
\n
• Organisational improvement and capability development

Most importantly, you'll bring sound judgement, initiative and the ability to build trust with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels. You will be someone who can provide practical advice, support informed decision-making and help foster a positive and high-performing team culture while contributing to the ongoing maturity of SAPOL's risk, compliance and assurance capability.

• The incumbent must hold a current Australian work eligibility status and will be subject to a criminal history check.

• The incumbent may be assigned to other duties at this remuneration level or equivalent.
\n
• Some out of hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required.
\n
• The incumbent is required to participate in SAPOL's iEngage program.
\n

Salary SM1 - $144,421 per annum.
