As a valued member of the Gian Hospitality Sydney Services team, you'll work across our client properties in the Homebush area and Sydney CBD.

\n

You'll be joining dynamic hospitality environments where attention to detail, teamwork and consistently high cleaning standards are essential to delivering an exceptional guest experience

ABOUT THE ROLE

\n

We are currently seeking reliable and motivated Housekeepers and Housemen to join our growing team.

\n

Working as part of the housekeeping team, you will play an important role in maintaining clean, comfortable and well-presented guest areas while ensuring our properties consistently meet high standards.

\n

Depending on the position, your responsibilities may include:

\n

Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms and allocated areas to a consistently high standard.

\n

Make beds, change linen and replenish towels, toiletries and other guest supplies.

\n

Vacuum, mop, dust and clean surfaces throughout guest rooms and common areas.

\n

Ensure rooms and public areas are presented neatly and ready for guests.

\n

Assist with the collection, transportation and storage of linen, rubbish and housekeeping supplies.

\n

Replenish housekeeping trolleys and maintain adequate stock of cleaning products and guest amenities.

\n

Assist with moving and handling housekeeping equipment, linen and other items as required.

\n

Identify and report maintenance issues, damaged items or anything requiring attention.

\n

Follow established cleaning procedures, workplace health and safety requirements and infection-control practices.

\n

Work efficiently to meet daily room and cleaning targets while maintaining quality standards.

\n

Work collaboratively with Housekeeping Supervisors, hotel staff and other team members to ensure smooth daily operations.

\n

Maintain a professional and respectful approach when interacting with guests, clients and colleagues.

\n

YOU WILL BRING

\n

Previous housekeeping, hotel cleaning or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential.

\n

A strong eye for detail and pride in delivering high-quality cleaning standards.

\n

The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

\n

A reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.

\n

Good communication and teamwork skills.

\n

The ability to follow instructions, procedures and workplace safety requirements.

\n

The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

\n

A positive and professional attitude.

\n

Physical ability to perform cleaning duties, including standing for extended periods and moving linen, equipment and supplies.

\n

Flexibility to work across the Homebush area and Sydney CBD as required.
