DISPENSARY TECHNICIAN/PHARMACY ASSISTANT - PART TIME

HEATHCOTE, VICTORIA

We are looking for an experienced and motivated dispensary technician/pharmacy assistant to join our friendly team at Heathcote Pharmacy. You will be part of a team who is passionate in providing excellent healthcare services and improving the health and well-being of our local community.

Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents.

Applicants who have S2 & S3 Community Pharmacy Certificate or have previous pharmacy working experience will be highly considered. However, candidates with all levels of experience are welcome to apply. Supervised training will be provided on-site.

The pharmacy offers part time position with flexibility around shifts plus a Saturday morning shift depending on your availability.

Candidates should be available for occasional Saturday morning shifts.

Your role will focus on:

• Processing sale transactions
• Providing advice and information on products
• Taking scripts in and handing out scripts
• Stock refilling and rotation
• Receiving stock
• Maintaining cleanliness of the pharmacy
• Building a good working relationship with the team and the customers
• Assist in the dispensary (if you have the necessary Pharmacy Certificates)

We are looking for someone who :

• Is self-motivated and reliable
• Has interest in learning new skillset
• Able to take instructions and directions from supervisors
• Is able to work independently and is a team player
• Has good communication skills both written and verbal
• Has a strong eye for detail and strives for accuracy
