THE OPPORTUNITY

Gather market and customer insight. Design and implement product & procedure specific marketing strategy and tactics to support the achievement of Business Plans for the Knee Portfolio. To be responsible for the development, implementation and execution of key in person and digital engagement strategies and customer solution platforms. Develop pricing and contracting strategy for above mentioned products. Ensure supply continuity through robust inventory planning through the S&OP process.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing Business Activity – Product specific

• Develop and implement product marketing strategies which contribute to increased unit growth, profitability and market share for product portfolios. Engage with customers to inform strategies, drive growth & portfolio shift and optimise New Product Introductions (Launch Excellence Process).

Dynamic Forecast & Inventory Management

• Manage dynamic forecast for product portfolio through regular review of sales trends and market issues.
• Develop internal processes with account teams to ensure relevant marketing strategies and technical product support is available to meet sales account team needs.

Professional Education

• Work with Professional Education team to execute key activities aligned with Knee and VELYS Strategy

Contributes to compliance with both corporate and regulatory standards. Manage business and division within Credo and ethical standards. Behavior displayed reflects J&J Business Conduct Standards. Visibly supports and coaches on company policies on Health, Safety and Environment. Contributes to the achievement of company health and safety goals through division development and coaching on driving behavior, compliance with health and safety policies and encouraging safety awareness both for individual and team situations. Leads by example.

Scope of Role

• Public, Private and Day Surgeries within Australia
• Drive sustained business growth of the knee portfolio in Australia
• Market leading growth for the knee portfolio
• Expected to show initiative, but will work closely and receive guidance from Marketing Manager and Business Unit Lead

Role Dimensions

• Actively and regularly communicates with both clinical and non-clinical stakeholders from healthcare settings and groups, and well as other commercial organizations as needed
• Extensive communication required across a large variation of stakeholders (as listed below)
• Works with MM, GMM and BUL’s (and DPS finance lead) regarding investment.

ABOUT YOU

Required:

• Must have an experience in joint replacement
• Preferred minimum education: Tertiary qualifications at Degree level
• Preferred area of study: Business or Science discipline
• Preferred related industry experience: Healthcare
• Post graduate qualifications (MBA) are an advantage
