Equipment Hire Manager – Christmas Activations

At Dec the Malls, we craft captivating Christmas experiences and commercial displays with first‐class service, design and delivery for shopping centres, corporate precincts, and government organisations nationally.

We are creating a new Equipment Hire Manager role to support the expansion of our Christmas hire and delivery operations across the East Coast of Australia.

\n

About the Role

\n

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role is responsible for the commercial and operational delivery of Christmas hire equipment, including availability, logistics, delivery, installation, and dismantle during the peak festive season.

\n

The role works cross‐functionally across Projects, Warehouse, Delivery, and Safety and is supported by the National Account Manager, who is focused on expanding our customer base in the eastern states of Australia.

\n

This is a hands‐on, delivery‐driven role with a strong commercial mindset.

\n

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Christmas equipment hire, logistics, and asset utilisation
\n
• Oversee deliveries, installations, and collections across multiple sites
\n
• Ensure hire readiness aligns with Christmas sales demand
\n
• Support East Coast growth through scalable hire and delivery systems
\n
• Maintain WHS, QHSE, and presentation standards in live environments
\n

You must have proven experience delivering commercial Christmas experiences within shopping centres, corporate precincts, and/or government sectors, including the delivery and installation of festive equipment.

\n

Candidates must demonstrate a minimum of 1-2 years of commercial Christmas delivery experience. Applications without direct commercial Christmas delivery experience will not be considered.
