The Social Media Manager runs All Things Better's presence across social channels. The role is responsible for the social strategy, the content calendar, and the day to day creation, publishing and community management that sits underneath it. It is a hands on role: the person in it plans the work, shoots and edits the content, writes the copy, publishes it, replies to the community and reports on what worked. The role works closely with the founder and with the wider marketing effort across email, website and campaigns, so that social does not run in isolation from the rest of the business.
Set and maintain the social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok and any additional channels the business adds.
Build and manage a rolling monthly content calendar aligned to product launches, campaigns and the wider marketing plan.
Track platform changes, trends and competitor activity, and adapt the approach accordingly.
Shoot, direct and edit short form video, product photography and lifestyle content, both in studio and on location.
Write captions, hooks and on screen copy in the All Things Better voice.
Prepare products, props and sets for shoots, including periodic interstate campaign shoots.
Manage the content library so assets are organised, named and reusable across email, website and paid.
Schedule and publish all content, and monitor performance on the day.
Manage comments, direct messages and story replies within agreed response times.
Identify, brief and manage influencers, affiliates and UGC creators.
At least three years in a similar social media role, in house or agency, with direct ownership of accounts rather than support only.
Demonstrated ability to shoot and edit short form video to a publishable standard on phone and in tools such as CapCut, Adobe or equivalent.
Strong copywriting for social, with a portfolio that shows range in voice.
Working knowledge of Instagram and TikTok analytics and the ability to translate data into decisions.
Experience working to a content calendar and to campaign deadlines.
Organised, self directed and comfortable owning a channel with light supervision.
Experience with a consumer, ecommerce, health, beauty or wellness brand (desirable).
Familiarity with TGA advertising rules for therapeutic goods (desirable).
Experience briefing and managing creators or influencers (desirable).
