Business Project Analyst

Join a purpose-led organisation on a major brand consolidation and transformation program. This is a hands-on role spanning business analysis, change and project coordination.

The opportunity

Our client is a purpose-led organisation undertaking an important brand transformation program, consolidating several existing brands into one unified master brand.

They are seeking a contractor to help assess the scale of change across the organisation and bring structure to the next phase of delivery.

This position requires a broad set of skills. It is a hands-on hybrid role suited to someone with strong business analysis skills, a good understanding of organisational change and the project capability to coordinate activity across multiple teams.

This is a daily rate contract position with an initial duration of 6 months, starting as soon as possible until Feb/March 2027. Their offices are located in Inner-Western suburbs of Melbourne with hybrid working 2-3 days on-site.

The role

Working closely with the program lead and stakeholders across the organisation, you will identify and audit physical and digital collateral impacted by the brand transition. You will help determine what needs to change, assess priorities and dependencies, and support the development of a practical implementation plan.

You will also assist with coordinating the next phase of the program, bringing together information from different teams, maintaining visibility of actions and ensuring work continues to move forward.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Identifying and cataloguing physical and digital assets impacted by the brand transition
• Engaging with business areas to understand ownership, requirements and stakeholder impacts
• Assessing what needs to change and supporting prioritisation of updates
• Mapping dependencies, risks, actions and delivery considerations
• Supporting implementation planning and sequencing across multiple teams
• Coordinating workshops, meetings and stakeholder discussions
• Consolidating information into clear documentation, trackers and plans
• Monitoring actions and following up with accountable stakeholders
• Helping establish structure, visibility and momentum across the program
• Supporting broader project analysis and coordination as required

About you

You will be a capable and adaptable Business Analyst or Project Analyst who is comfortable working across loosely defined problems and bringing clarity to complex pieces of work.

Ideally, you will offer:

• Strong business analysis, discovery and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience supporting transformation, brand, customer or organisation-wide change programs
• The ability to assess stakeholder and operational impacts
• Strong project planning, coordination and tracking capability
• Experience identifying dependencies, risks and priorities
• Confidence working with stakeholders across different functions and levels
• Clear and practical documentation skills
• The ability to work independently and drive actions through to completion
• A proactive, organised and delivery-focused approach

Experience supporting a rebrand, brand consolidation, merger, integration or similarly broad organisational change would be highly regarded.
