We're a small-group strength training studio in Richmond built around one idea — that fitness should fit your life, not the other way around. You don't need to live, eat, and breathe the gym. You just need to show up, train smart, and enjoy it enough that it actually sticks.
We've built something genuinely special here — a tight-knit community supported by intelligent programming, in a space where everyone feels seen and motivated.
Lead8-14 group strength training classes per week(Monday–Friday).
Work with small groups (max. 8 people) focusing on barbell movements and progressive strength training.
Build your own 1-on-1 PT client base alongside group sessions.
Our programming is purposeful, intelligent and tracked — members log their results in our app so progress is always visible. You'll be coaching within a system that actually gets people results.
3+ years' experience as a Personal Trainer
Cert IV in Fitness (minimum), with current First Aid and CPR
Confident and skilled coaching barbell movements and strength-based sessions
Warm, personable, and genuinely great at making people feel comfortable
Someone who's invested in their own development — mentorships, advanced courses, continued learning. You know why you became a trainer, and you know where you're headed.
You'll be joining a small, experienced team led by our founder Adam — a trainer with 20+ years in the industry who's built The Bones on the belief that great training is personal, progressive, and measurable — and ultimately, it's there to make your life better.
You'll grow here. The team takes the work seriously and has a lot of fun doing it. We run community events because the people here genuinely enjoy each other's company.
