The role \n

We need someone who still lives inside Google Ads and Meta Ads. Not someone who used to be good at it before getting promoted into strategy. Not someone managing a team who does the actual work.

\n

If a client's numbers dip and your instinct is to open the account, work out what's wrong, and fix it yourself, keep reading.

\n

This isn't a pure execution role either. Once you've proven the technical depth, you'll move into senior client relationships, real commercial ownership, sales support and eventually leading a small team. You'll also have direct access to the founders throughout.

What you'll be doing Performance \n

    \n
  • Hands on management of Google Ads and Meta Ads across live client accounts
    • \n
  • Diagnosing issues in conversion tracking, budgets and targeting and fixing them yourself
    • \n
  • Working across CRM platforms (HubSpot experience is essential), turning performance data into commercial recommendations clients act on
    • \n
  • Supporting and QA-ing the Performance Lead, with enough depth to step into that seat if needed
    • \n

Client & account growth \n

  • Owning senior client relationships, retention and churn prevention
    • \n
  • Identifying and converting upsell opportunities
    • \n
  • Leading performance and strategy meetings
    • \n

Sales \n

    \n
  • Supporting discovery and solution calls with prospective clients
    • \n
  • Contributing to new-client conversion and onboarding
    • \n

Team & Leadership \n

    \n
  • Helping lead a small, high-performing team over time
    • \n
  • Noticing what's broken across delivery and fixing it without being asked
    • \n
  • Spotting new revenue opportunities and commercial initiatives, not just improving what already exists
    • \n

What we're looking for \n

    \n
  • 5+ years in performance marketing, agency or growth roles, including 3+ years in a senior technical agency position
    • \n
  • Advanced, genuinely current Google Ads and Meta Ads experience at meaningful budgets, you can talk specifics (conversion tracking setup, why you changed a bidding strategy), not just outcomes
    • \n
  • Strong lead generation experience, this matters more here than brand or awareness work
    • \n
  • 2+ years of practical CRM experience: implementation, pipelines, workflows, automation, reporting in HubSpot
    • \n
  • VOIP/Aircall platform experience
    • \n
  • Proven experience managing senior client relationships, including retention and account growth, not just delivery
    • \n
  • A natural leader who wants to grow into managing a team. You don't need formal leadership experience yet, just the instincts and appetite for it
    • \n
  • Comfortable running a function commercially without needing to be managed step by step
    • \n
  • Based in Brisbane or willing to relocate, and genuinely keen to be in the office
    • \n

Working setup \n

In-office five days a week to start, moving to four office days plus one WFH day once you're fully up to speed.

  • Package of $125,000–$200,000+: a competitive base plus real performance-based upside, up to roughly $150,000 base for an exceptional candidate, with a $50,000+ annual bonus tied to agency performance targets
