A Grade Electrician

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and fully qualified full time A-Grade Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems across residential, commercial, and/or industrial sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation, commissioning, maintenance, fault finding and reactive service of automatic doors, gates and roller door/shutter systems.
• Carry out preventive and reactive maintenance tasks
• Inspect, test, and troubleshoot electrical systems
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards
• Work independently or as part of a team on various job sites
• Complete job documentation and reports accurately
• Site repairs to commercial/industrial/domestic doors including roller shutter doors, roller doors, sectional overhead doors, tilt doors, swing gates, slide gates, bifolds.
• Site installations of roller shutter doors, roller doors, curtains, drums, motors, remote control units etc.
• Communicate professionally with clients and team members

Requirements

• Current A-Grade Electrical License
• Demonstrated experience in residential, commercial, or industrial electrical work
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Sound understanding of electrical regulations and safety practices
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• High attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Valid driver’s license

Desirable (Preferred):

• Forklift, EWP license, White card
• Working with Children check
• Mechanical knowledge, welding and experience with power tools
