We're creating something special in Kyneton and we're looking for an exceptional leader to help shape it from the very beginning. Our new aged care home is currently under construction on the historic Kyneton Hospital site. When complete, it will provide 126 private suites across six residences and become home to older members of the Kyneton community for generations to come. The development continues a long history of care on a site that has been part of Kyneton's story for many years. This is a rare opportunity to become part of Embracia's Founding Care Team and play a leading role in creating something truly meaningful for the local community.

Most aged care leadership opportunities involve stepping into an existing home, inheriting an existing team and working within an established culture. This role is different. As our Founding Home Manager, you'll have the opportunity to build the team, shape the culture and influence how the home operates from day one. The Opportunity

Reporting to the General Manager, Aged Care, you will lead all operational aspects of our new Kyneton home and play a key role in preparing for a successful opening. While construction is underway, the role will initially be based between our Kyneton Early Learning Centre and our Moonee Valley aged care home. This will provide the opportunity to immerse yourself in Embracia's culture, learn our way of working and begin building your founding team well before opening day.

Key responsibilities include:

• Recruiting, mentoring and developing a high-performing team.
• Creating a positive and engaged workplace culture.
• Driving occupancy and community engagement initiatives.
• Managing operational performance and financial outcomes.
• Building strong relationships with residents, families and local stakeholders.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality requirements.
• Working closely with executive leadership throughout the commissioning and opening phases.

About You

You are an experienced leader who understands that exceptional aged care begins with exceptional people. You know how to bring a team together around a shared purpose, create a positive culture and inspire people to do their best work.

You'll bring:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Registered Nurse with a current AHPRA registration.
• Minimum of 5 years leadership experience within residential aged care as a Home Manager or equivalent senior leadership role.
• Strong operational and financial management skills.
• Experience leading and developing multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• A proven ability to build positive workplace culture.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• A genuine commitment to providing exceptional experiences for residents and families.

Salary & Benefits

Competitive salary package circa $150,000-$170,000 plus superannuation
