As a Registered Nurse at Anglicare Sydney, you will provide safe, compassionate clinical care for residents with diverse and complex needs. You will work closely with residents, families and the multidisciplinary team to identify changes early and support each resident's quality of life

You're an empathetic, respectful and resilient person who genuinely seeks to promote the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of older people. You share our organisational values of integrity, justice, compassion and excellence, and embed them in everything you do.
You understand how to recognise and respond to changes in a resident's condition, including reduced oral intake, dehydration, weight loss, confusion or delirium, falls risk, reduced mobility, skin concerns and pressure injury risk.
You also understand the importance of monitoring and preventing issues included in the National Aged Care Mandatory Quality Indicator Program, such as falls, pressure injuries, unplanned weight loss, medication-related harm, infections, restrictive practices and changes in resident wellbeing.
Aged care or other relevant clinical experience is valued but not essential. We welcome nurses who bring a fresh perspective, a willingness to learn and a positive approach. You will be supported to build your knowledge and confidence within residential aged care.
