AFL Cairns is looking for an energetic and passionate Game Development Coordinator to join our football team.
For many young people, their first experience of Australian football comes through Auskick, school football or a community program.
This role is about making that first experience a great one and creating a pathway for young people to continue their football journey through our community clubs.
This is a hands‑on football development role. You’ll spend your time in schools, clubs and communities delivering quality football programs, building relationships and helping grow participation across our region.

The position
Full-time position based in Cairns, with delivery across Cairns and Far North Queensland.
The position is classified under the Sporting Organisations Award – Sports Coach Level 2.
Due to the nature of community sport, some evening and weekend work will be required.
