Primary Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, engineers, and product owners to define enterprise data architecture and information management strategies.
\n
• Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models that support business, operational, analytical, and regulatory requirements.
\n
• Develop and govern enterprise data models, standards, and information architectures across multiple platforms and domains.
\n
• Lead data modelling reviews to ensure consistency, scalability, performance, and adherence to architectural standards.
\n
• Define and manage metadata, data lineage, reference data, and master data management frameworks.
\n
• Establish and maintain enterprise data governance processes, stewardship models, and data ownership structures.
\n
• Design API-driven information services and integration patterns to enable secure and efficient data exchange between systems.
\n
• Provide guidance on data quality management, information lifecycle management, and data integrity practices.
\n
• Work closely with development and engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
\n
• Produce and maintain architecture artefacts, data dictionaries, modelling standards, and technical documentation.
\n

Secondary Responsibilities:

• Support strategic planning activities through capability modelling, roadmap development, and future-state architecture definition.
\n
• Assess and recommend improvements to information architecture, data management processes, and platform capabilities.
\n
• Participate in architecture review boards, governance forums, and design authority activities.
\n
• Provide expertise in data migration, transformation, and modernisation initiatives.
\n
• Contribute to enterprise-wide data and information management policies, standards, and procedures.
\n
• Support compliance, audit, privacy, security, and risk management requirements through effective information architecture practices.
\n
• Mentor junior architects, analysts, data engineers, and modellers in data architecture and modelling disciplines.
\n
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and business outcomes through data-driven solutions.
\n

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in enterprise data architecture, information management, and data modelling within large and complex organisations.
\n
• Expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling techniques and methodologies.
\n
• Strong understanding of data governance, metadata management, data lineage, and stewardship frameworks.
\n
• Experience designing enterprise information architectures supporting operational, analytical, and reporting requirements.
\n
• Proficiency in data integration architecture, API design concepts, and information exchange patterns.
\n
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, data warehousing, and information lifecycle management principles.
\n
• Experience facilitating stakeholder workshops, requirements analysis, and solution design activities.
\n
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
\n
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-focused recommendations and outcomes.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in cyber security data domains, governance, and compliance reporting.

• Knowledge of telecommunications, network inventory, asset management, or operational support systems.

• Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks and capability modelling techniques.

• Familiarity with cloud-native data platforms, data engineering practices, and modern data ecosystems.

• Experience leading large-scale data transformation, modernisation, and information management initiatives.
