Senior Sales Representative – Agricultural Fertiliser

Excelcrop Holdings Pty Ltd – Dandenong VIC

Excelcrop Holdings is an Australian manufacturer of premium liquid fish hydrolysate, seaweed concentrate and fish-based soil amendments supplied to the agricultural and animal feed sector. We are looking for an experienced Senior Agricultural Sales Representative to help grow our B2B customer base across Australia.

This is a hands-on sales role suited to someone who already has strong relationships and networks within the agriculture and animal feed sector and knows how to identify opportunities, open doors and convert relationships into commercial sales.

You will work directly with the Directors and have significant autonomy to develop your territory and sales pipeline. You will be dealing with fertiliser resellers, agronomists, distributors, horticultural businesses and large-scale corporate farms.

Regional travel throughout Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and South Australia will be required as opportunities develop.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with agricultural resellers, distributors, agronomists and large farming enterprises
• Identify new customers and sales opportunities across regional Australia
• Introduce and sell Excelcrop's range of liquid fish fertilisers, seaweed concentrates and soil amendments
• Leverage existing agricultural network to generate new business
• Develop reseller and distribution opportunities
• Visit customers, farms, agribusinesses and resellers throughout regional areas
• Present products and their agronomic benefits to growers, agronomists and purchasing teams
• Prepare quotes, negotiate commercial terms and close sales
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and follow up opportunities through to conversionWork closely with the Directors on pricing, product development and market opportunities

About you

• Significant experience in agricultural sales or agribusiness
• An established network of contacts within Australian agriculture
• Demonstrated success in B2B sales and business development
• Strong understanding of agricultural inputs and how they are sold through resellers and directly to growers
• Confidence dealing with farm owners, agronomists, purchasing managers and senior decision-makers
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
• A commercial mindset and strong ability to identify and pursue opportunities
• The ability to work autonomously and manage your own territory and travel schedule
• Willingness to travel regularly throughout regional Victoria, NSW, Queensland and South Australia
• A current driver's licence
