About the Role ( Permanent Full-time)

The Supply Support Officer is responsible for supporting inventory management, cataloguing, logistics, and supply chain activities. The role involves maintaining accurate records, managing product and asset information, and using business systems to support operational and administrative requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

• asset stocktaking activities in accordance with the Commonwealth stocktaking plan
• ensuring equipment on charge is used with due economy and for the purpose for which it was issued
• ensuring equipment is suitably and safely stored, is in a serviceable condition and has not been
• subject to unauthorised modification
• ensuring equipment on temporary issue (loan) are returned by due date and equipment is inspected, with defects and deficiencies reported for rectification action
• receipting and issuing items to and from SLOCs
• raising movement requisition orders for freight (Form ST116)
• liaising with Commonwealth representatives wrt ERP functions

The Successful Candidate

• Basic to intermediate level of competency with ERP programs (i.e. MILIS / SAP)
• Basic to intermediate level of competency with MS Office programs
• Ability to speak, present and write fluently in English for a diverse audience
• High levels of attention to detail
• AGSVA clearance level: NV1
• ACT based- 5 days onsite
