Senior Supervisor-Packaging

Location: Panorama, SA | Classification: 12-Month Fixed Term, Full-time Position

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Senior Supervisorto join our Packaging team. Reporting to the Site Manager, this role is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the workflow of multiple areas and for preparing documented reports on work outcomes and process improvements. The role will also provide direct supervision, training and management of Staff and Employees to meet required operational deadlines, work quality and staff and employee safety.

This position will see you working Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4pm and Fridays 7:30-2pm. A competitive salary package is offered,depending on relevant experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the day-to‑day operations of the Packaging Department, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and customer expectations are consistently achieved.
• Understand NDIS Practice Standards, NDIS Code of Conduct, and the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework
• Develop, mentor and lead a team of Supervisors and employees, fostering a positive, high-performing, and inclusive workplace culture.
• Drive production planning, workforce scheduling and resource allocation to maximise operational efficiency and meet business objectives.
• Ensure all products meet customer requirements and quality standards
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders, proactively addressing concerns and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Lead employee performance and development processes, including performance reviews, training, coaching, succession planning, and Individual Training Plans
• Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety and quality systems, including WHS legislation, hazard management, incident reporting, and accreditation requirements.
• Oversee the maintenance and safe operation of plant, equipment, vehicles and fleet assets, ensuring servicing schedules and operational requirements are met.
• Manage staff relations and workplace matters, working collaboratively with HR to address performance issues, grievances, and employee concerns.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, safety, quality and accountability, ensuring organisational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements are consistently upheld.

About You – The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous supervisory experience is essential.
• Previous Packaging, Manufacturing, Distribution and or Warehousing experience.
• Formal qualifications and or personal experience in Disability is desirable.
• Knowledge of the various Quality Management Systems.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
