About the role

\n

We're seeking a Senior Advisor, Communications to help bring Transurban's story to life through engaging, audience-led communications that build trust, support business priorities, and strengthen employee and stakeholder connection. Working across a broad range of initiatives, you'll develop and deliver impactful communications, provide strategic advice to leaders, and leverage insights, data and storytelling to create meaningful experiences for internal and external audiences.

Day-to-day, you will:

\n

\n
• Develop and deliver audience-led communication plans and content that support business priorities, company strategy and key communication objectives.
\n
• Create engaging stories, content and campaigns that showcase Transurban's purpose, achievements and customer focus across multiple channels.
\n
• Provide strategic communications advice and support to business leaders and stakeholders across the organisation.
\n
• Support the planning and delivery of business unit, people leader and corporate communications initiatives.
\n
• Develop and contribute to issues management communications, partnering with internal stakeholders to support business needs.
\n
• Deliver engaging multimedia content, events and communication experiences that encourage two-way dialogue with audiences.
\n
• Use audience insights, data and performance metrics to measure effectiveness and continuously improve communication outcomes.
\n
• Build strong relationships across Corporate Affairs, business units and specialist teams to ensure aligned and effective communications.

This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferable skills and experiences, including:

• Experience developing and delivering communication strategies, plans and content for diverse audiences in a complex organisation.
\n
• Strong written, verbal and editorial communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, engaging and impactful messages.
\n
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships, influence stakeholders and provide confident communications advice to leaders.
\n
• Experience using audience insights, feedback and data to shape communications and drive continuous improvement.
\n
• Strong organisation and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
