We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Gardener / Cremator Operator to join our team at Woongarra Crematorium and Memorial Gardens. About the Role

Working both independently and as part of a team, you will be responsible for maintaining our grounds to a high standard while ensuring all cremation activities are carried out with professionalism, care, and strict adherence to regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain lawns, gardens, ponds, and memorial areas to a high standard.

• Operate and maintain gardening equipment safely and effectively.

• Ensure all grounds remain clean, safe, and welcoming for visitors.

• Prepare and operate cremation equipment in accordance with all operational and regulatory requirements.

• Handle cremated remains with the highest level of care, respect, and attention to detail.

• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of cremator facilities and observation areas.

• Prepare chapel and service areas prior to funerals and memorial services.

• Assist with general site presentation and maintenance duties as required.
