Commercial Leasing and Property Manager

We are seeking a driven and personable Commercial Leasing Agent to join our team, based in Chinchilla. This role combines commercial leasing with hands-on tenant and property involvement, making it ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, closing deals, and staying close to the day-to-day running of the properties they manage. You'll be responsible for growing and managing the existing management portfolio of commercial and industrial properties, negotiating lease agreements, and acting as the key point of contact for tenants and landlords alike.

Key responsibilities

List and lease commercial and industrial properties

Negotiate lease transactions from start to finish, including all associated paperwork

Prospecting and generating new managements and leads

Conduct property inspections and other duties associated with listing and leasing

Research the background of prospective lease applicants

Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with key account clients, maintaining a high profile in the local market

Network with local businesses, developers, planners and other industry contacts

Liaise with tenants to ensure compliance with lease terms and relevant legislation

Coordinate maintenance and repair requests with the property team as needed

Analyse market lease data to assist with appraisals

About you

Current QLD real estate licence/registration certificate (or working towards one)

Previous experience in commercial real estate leasing highly regarded; property management experience is required

Practical knowledge of the commercial property sector

Confident and proactive approach to prospecting and cold calling

Excellent negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)

Strong customer service focus and a polished, professional presentation

Well organised with strong time-management and multitasking skills

Sound computer literacy, including experience with CRM and/or property management software

Current driver's licence
