The RoleAn opportunity has become available for a Physiotherapist - Senior (Mental Health - Lavender Mother and Baby Unit) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.You willDeliver advanced clinical and advisory services within single and multi-disciplinary teamsApply advanced professional judgement to complex clinical problems utilising evidence based practices, clinical expertise, multi-specialty skills and extensive ongoing professional developmentFacilitate the development, implementation and evaluation of clinical practices, procedures and workplace guidelinesAssist the facility based Clinical Educator in providing student placement opportunities and clinical education within the GCHHS to physiotherapy undergraduate and postgraduate studentsAbout youTo be successful in this position you will require:A tertiary degree in PhysiotherapyAHPRA RegistrationEvidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis BTuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be requiredDeclaration of serious discipline history must be disclosedCriminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)BenefitsFlexible work optionsCareer DevelopmentSalary PackagingModern FacilitiesDiverse Work CultureResearch Opportunities12.75% super17.5% leave loadingSalaryTemporary part time (22.80 hrs per fortnight, up to 10 months)Base salary ranging from $64.64 - $69.55 per hourAbout UsThe Mother and Baby Unit is a purpose built, specialist four bed unit located at Gold Coast University Hospital.
