Northern Health Northern Health is seeking an experienced and innovative Lead, Workforce Experience & Improvement to drive meaningful improvements across our People & Culture services, systems and programs.

Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne’s rapidly growing outer north.

Services are provided through our six main campuses:

Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn and Mernda Community Hospitals Centres and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park, Mernda and Coburg.

About the Role:

Working within a dynamic Workforce Planning & Projects environment, this newly established hands-on role will champion a better experience for employees and leaders by simplifying processes, reducing administrative burden and ensuring workforce solutions are practical, connected and focused on what matters most.

This is an Ongoing, Full Time position offering a salary of up to $113,793.68 inclusive of Superannuation.

This role requires you to

• Lead workforce experience and continuous improvement initiatives across People & Culture.
• Partner with employees, leaders and stakeholders to understand workforce needs and co-design solutions.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve systems and remove barriers to effective service delivery.
• Use workforce feedback, operational insights and data to inform improvement priorities.
• Monitor, evaluate and report on the benefits of improvement initiatives.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Experience implementing organisational, workforce, service improvement or HR initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management capabilities.
• Demonstrated success reviewing and improving systems, processes and ways of working.
• Strong analytical, project management and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to influence, collaborate and drive sustainable change.
• Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Health Management, Organisational Development or a related field.
