National Facility Services has a unique opportunity available for an Assistant Building Manager to manage a number of buildings on a part-time basis in Greater Melbourne.

You will be responsible for the delivery of outstanding service, with a focus on the day-to-day operations and management of the buildings. These buildings require a self-motivated, high-level communicator with a keen eye for detail.

You will need to possess, strong multitasking skills and excellent organization and time management skills to ensure the highest standards are delivered to the residents, clients and their asset.

National Facility Services (NFS), is a leading, full-service facilities management company specialising in the management of high-rise and low-rise residential developments in Melbourne's central business district and surrounding suburbs. We are completely independent, with an exemplary team of more than 50 staff. We offer truly specialised expertise and years of industry experience to deliver service that is second to none.

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will be required but not limited to:

  • Manage all service contractors to the buildings
  • Ensure building compliance with all Essential Services
  • Continually enhance the operation in keeping with the company's philosophy ofservice to the client
  • Be highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ensure all records concerning the buildings are regularly kept up to date
  • Undertake administrative duties relating to projects as directed by management
  • Build productive relationships with clients and service providers
  • Enforcement of OC rules
  • Regularly liaise with the OC Manager

  • Efficiently multitask multiple projects and buildings at once
  • Foster client relationships and encourage a community culture
  • Have excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient in multiple IT solutions
  • Have the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Demonstrate a high level of responsiveness
  • Previous Building Management experience is preferred
