About The Role \n

Location: Fulham Correctional Centre

Role Type: Part Time (0.6 FTE) fixed term for 12 months

\n

Availability: flexible with days

\n

Remuneration: starting $ 94,772.16 plus 12% super (dependent on qualifications, pro rata)

Role \n

As a Teacher Construction/Civil , you will deliver high-quality training and assessment in Civil Construction and Pre-Apprenticeship programs to adult learners within a correctional setting. Your role will include:

• Delivering accredited civil construction and pre-apprenticeship training aligned with industry standards and safety regulations
\n
• Supporting learners to build confidence and competence in construction skills and workplace readiness
\n
• Maintaining accurate records of student progress, assessments, and compliance documentation
\n
• Creating a positive, respectful, and inclusive learning environment that supports diverse learner needs
\n

We Are Excited About You Because You Have \n

\n
• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
\n
• Certificate III in Civil Construction, Certificate II in Building and Construction or Certificate II Supply Chain Operations (or equivalent)
\n
• Current White card (Construction Induction card)
\n
• Relevant and current civil construction experience
\n
• Experience delivering training in adult education or vocational settings (beneficial)
\n
• Effective communication skills for working in correctional settings
\n
• Computer proficiency
\n
• Compliance paperwork management
\n
• Ability to teach independently
\n
• Commitment to safety, inclusion, and learner success.
\n

The Essential Paperwork: Working with Children Clearance (WWCC), Current police check Clearance, Certified right to work documentation, Certified copies of your qualifications and transcripts

\n
