The Opportunity Senior Paraplanning Manager \n

Working closely with advisers and our offshore paraplanning team, you will coordinate strategy implementation, technical analysis, research, modelling and advice document preparation. This is an opportunity for a senior professional who enjoys technical work, process ownership and driving quality outcomes for both clients and advisers

About the Role \n

As a Senior Paraplanner, you will be responsible for managing the end to end advice preparation process following client meetings. You will work closely with advisers to interpret client objectives, confirm strategic direction and oversee the preparation of comprehensive advice documents.

You will act as the central point of coordination between advisers, paraplanners and technical resources, ensuring advice is delivered accurately, efficiently and to the highest professional standards.

• Review client meeting notes and identify objectives, agreed actions and information requirements.
\n
• Work collaboratively with advisers to clarify strategy and define technical requirements.
\n
• Translate strategy discussions into clear and actionable paraplanning instructions.
\n
• Prepare the SOA request and manage drafting across onshore and offshore paraplanning resources.
\n

Technical Research & Analysis \n

\n
• Coordinate product research and provider information requests.
\n
• Prepare and review technical calculations, modelling and strategy assumptions.
\n
• Complete or oversee cashflow modelling, superannuation projections and strategy analysis.
\n
• Ensure technical accuracy and compliance across all advice documentation.
\n

Quality Assurance & Workflow Management \n

\n
• Conduct detailed reviews of advice documents, calculations and modelling outputs.
\n
• Maintain visibility over advice workflow, priorities and delivery deadlines.
\n
• Identify process improvements that enhance efficiency and advice quality.
\n
• Minimise adviser rework through strong quality control and attention to detail.
\n

Offshore Team Coordination \n

\n
• Prepare comprehensive briefs and technical instructions for offshore paraplanners.
\n
• Review and provide feedback on offshore work to ensure consistency and accuracy.
\n
• Support capability development through coaching, template improvements and quality review.
\n
• Maintain accountability for final advice quality and client outcomes.
\n

To Be Successful \n

You are an experienced Senior Paraplanner or advice professional with a strong understanding of the financial planning process and a passion for delivering high-quality advice.

We are looking for: \n

• Minimum 5 years' experience in senior paraplanning, advice preparation or a similar financial planning role.
\n
• Strong knowledge of the end-to-end advice process.
\n
• Advanced XPLAN experience.
\n
• Demonstrated experience preparing and reviewing SOAs and ROAs.
\n
• Strong technical capability across superannuation, retirement planning, investments and cashflow modelling.
\n
• Experience working with or managing offshore paraplanning resources.
\n
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and workflow technologies desirable
