About the role \n

Trideca is recruiting a Functional Automation Tester to join a Testing Practice supporting a federal government digital transformation program. The role covers testing of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform applications, including Power Pages, Power Apps, and Dataverse-based solutions.

\n

You will design, build, and maintain automated regression tests across UI and API layers, and run these through CI/CD pipelines rather than on demand only. This role suits someone who can pick up new business processes fast, work independently, and switch between projects and priorities as they shift.

What you will do \n

\n
• Test Dynamics 365 and Power Platform applications and their business processes, from requirements analysis through to defect management
\n
• Run UI, functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing across web and enterprise applications
\n
• Build and maintain automated UI test suites using Playwright, Selenium, EasyRepro, or similar
\n
• Automate API and integration testing using Postman/Newman, REST Assured, or Playwright API testing
\n
• Integrate automated test suites into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
\n
• Work within SDLC and Agile delivery practices as part of a multidisciplinary team
\n

What you will bring \n

\n
• Demonstrated testing experience with Dynamics 365 and/or Power Platform (Power Pages, Power Apps, Dataverse)
\n
• Strong background in UI, functional, integration, system, regression, and UAT testing
\n
• Test automation experience across both UI and API/integration layers
\n
• Experience embedding automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
\n
• Proficiency with VS Code, Azure DevOps, source control, and defect management practices
\n
• Adaptability to move across projects, technologies, and business domains
\n

Desirable \n

\n
• ISTQB Automation Certification or equivalent
\n
• Deeper Dynamics 365 / Dataverse / Power Platform / Power BI experience (plugin logic, environment variables, secrets, API Management policy validation)
\n
• Experience with Jira alongside Azure DevOps
\n
