HR Business Partner – Corporate

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join Uniting's People & Culture team as an HR Business Partner and become a trusted partner to senior leaders across a diverse and complex portfolio.

You’ll provide practical HR advice, coaching and insights to help leaders navigate workforce challenges, strengthen their teams and deliver on organisational priorities. This is a hands-on opportunity to contribute to people strategies, projects and continuous improvement while building strong relationships across the organisation.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Partner with senior leaders to provide trusted HR advice, coaching and guidance.
• Develop and implement people strategies aligned with business and workforce priorities.
• Analyse workforce data and research to identify trends, risks and opportunities, providing practical recommendations.
• Provide HR support across performance, employee relations, change management, workforce planning and employee engagement.
• Support and deliver people projects, including organisational change and workforce initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with HR specialists to develop and implement effective people solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, systems and ways of working.
• Maintain accurate HR information and contribute to a safe, supportive and inclusive workplace.

ABOUT YOU

You’re an adaptable and proactive HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced and varied environment. You’re comfortable working independently, building relationships and taking ownership of your work.

You’ll bring:

• 3-4 years' experience in an HR Business Partner or similar HR generalist role.
• Strong HR generalist knowledge and business partnering capability.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong administration, organisation and attention to detail.
• The ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously.
• A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to get involved.
• Strong systems capability.
• A relevant qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of current employment legislation and HR best practice.
