St Augustine's College in Augustine Heights is seeking an experienced School Finance Officer on a full-time fixed-term bases to join inclusive and nuturing P-12 school.

About the opportunity \n

In this position you will be responsible for:

\n

\n
• Overseeing the development, maintenance and operations of relevant systems and resources and recommending improvements to processes and procedures
\n
• Developing and interpreting legislation, regulations, procedures and other guideline material relating to the financial operations of the school
\n
• Preparing and maintaining procurement activities, including overseeing budget administration, and activities
\n
• Reviewing, developing and implementing processes and systems that enable effective financial management consistent with the school’s strategic and operational objectives
\n
• Supervising and training support staff as required.
\n

About you \n

To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:

• Proven ability to oversee and improve systems and resources
\n
• Strong understanding of financial legislation, regulations, and procedures
\n
• Experience in managing procurement and budget administration
\n
• Skills in developing and implementing effective financial management processes
\n
• Leadership ability to supervise and train support staff
\n
• Tertiary qualification at Diploma level in Finance or related field
\n
• For this position you are not required to be Catholic.
\n
