Nurse in Charge | Ophthalmic Day Surgery | Brisbane Inner East
Permanent Part-Time | $68–$72 per hour + super | 2 Days/Week, Growing
Carejobz are looking for an experienced Operating Theatre Nurse ready to step into a named leadership role from day one.
This role suits a senior scrub/scout nurse, theatre coordinator, or day surgery clinical nurse ready to step up, or an ANUM/NUM looking for a smaller, more hands‑on leadership position. You’ll be named as the facility’s Nurse in Charge, lead preparation for licensing and accreditation, then move into clinical scrub/scout work once operating lists begin.
This purpose‑built facility sits within a broader health‑and‑wellness precinct alongside physiotherapy, orthopaedic services and on‑site gyms.
The aim is to give patients a connected wellness journey rather than a single clinical visit, supported by a workplace culture that values the same mindset.
The practice is also values‑led. Facility profits support a registered charity dedicated to eradicating curable and incurable blindness through gene and cellular therapy research.
Staff are involved directly and hear from the research side of the organisation, giving their clinical work a meaningful connection to something bigger.
