Pop-Up Therapy is a mobile occupational therapy service supporting children and young people through in-home, school-based, clinic, and telehealth sessions. About the role

\n

The Senior Occupational Therapist is a clinical leadership role within Pop-Up Therapy. In addition to carrying a client caseload, the role includes dedicated time for professional supervision of Occupational Therapists and Allied Health Assistants, supporting the clinical development of the team, mentoring university students on placement, and contributing to service development and organisational leadership.

This is an opportunity for an experienced paediatric OT to have a meaningful role in shaping the clinical direction of a growing service, while remaining connected to the clinical work they enjoy.

Key responsibilities

\n

Carry a complex caseload of children and young people with disability, developmental delay, and/or complex needs across in-home, school-based, and telehealth settings.

\n

Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and deliver evidence-based, strengths-based, and neurodiversity-affirming therapy.

\n

Develop, implement, and review high-quality individualised therapy plans in collaboration with clients, families/carers, and multidisciplinary stakeholders.

\n

Prepare clinical reports, functional capacity assessments, NDIS-related documentation, and Medicare billing to a high standard and within agreed timeframes.

\n

Deliver services under NDIS funding, Medicare Chronic Disease Management plans, and private payment arrangements in accordance with relevant billing and scheme requirements.

\n

Provide regular, structured clinical supervision to Occupational Therapists within the Pop-Up Therapy team, in accordance with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia's supervision guidelines.

\n

Provide clinical supervision and delegation to Allied Health Assistants, monitoring program implementation and providing timely feedback.

\n

Supervise occupational therapy students on clinical placement in accordance with the requirements of the relevant university and the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.

\n

Contribute to the ongoing development of Pop-Up Therapy's clinical services, including the design of new programs, therapy resources, and service delivery models.

\n

Maintain accurate, timely, and professional clinical records in accordance with organisational, NDIS, and Medicare requirements.

About you

\n

Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification

\n

Minimum 4 years of post-graduate clinical experience, with demonstrated experience in paediatric occupational therapy

\n

Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist with no conditions

\n

Current NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance

\n

Current Working with Children Check – Blue Card (Queensland)

\n

Demonstrated experience providing clinical supervision to occupational therapists and/or allied health assistants

\n

Current, unrestricted Queensland driver's license

\n

Comprehensive car insurance for use of personal vehicle for work purposes

\n

Current First Aid and CPR certificate

\n

Strong clinical assessment, report writing, and communication skills
