We are now looking for a passionate and commercially driven Retail Store Manager to join our team at our Sussex Inlet store on the NSW South Coast.

About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced retail leader to take ownership of an Ocean & Earth retail store in one of the NSW South Coast's great coastal communities.

As Store Manager, you'll be responsible for driving sales performance, leading and developing your team, delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring the store consistently represents the Ocean & Earth brand.

You'll be a hands-on leader who enjoys being on the shop floor, engaging with customers, coaching your team and finding ways to improve store performance.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing retail team.

Drive sales, KPIs and store profitability.

Deliver outstanding customer service and build strong customer relationships.

Manage the day-to-day operation of the Sussex Inlet store.

Recruit, train, coach and roster team members.

Manage stock, replenishment, inventory and stocktakes.

Maintain excellent visual merchandising and store presentation standards.

Analyse sales results and implement strategies to achieve targets.

Manage customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally.

Support product launches, promotions and in-store campaigns.

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and workplace health and safety requirements.

Represent Ocean & Earth and bring our surf culture and brand values to life in-store.

About You

We're looking for an experienced and enthusiastic retail professional who can lead from the front.

You’ll ideally have:

Previous experience as a Retail Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager or senior retail leader.

A proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing retail KPIs.

Strong leadership and people-management skills.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Strong organisational and time-management skills.

A proactive, energetic and hands-on approach.

Commercial awareness and a focus on achieving results.

The ability to work independently while being a strong team player.

A genuine passion for surfing, the ocean, fashion, outdoor or action sports.

Surf, skate, fashion, lifestyle or action-sports retail experience will be highly regarded.
