As General Manager, you will be responsible for delivering our strategic objectives and be accountable for maximising the overall profitability of the Urban sector through the dynamic management of our service delivery, strategic resources, and high-performing operational teams.

Key Strategic Responsibilities

• Craft and execute bold sector strategies, business plans, and financial roadmaps in direct alignment with company vision and values.
• Mentor and energise a high-performing, nationwide operational team, instilling accountability through clear KPIs and proactive capability coaching.
• Own full P&L accountability for the division, diligently managing financial reporting, site profitability, and rapid turnaround strategies for underperforming assets.
• Partner closely with Business Development to forge winning client solutions, lead key tenders, steer seamless site mobilisations, and secure high-value contract renewals.
• Leverage industry insights to anticipate market shifts, foster strategic partner networks, and position Cater Care at the forefront of sector innovation.
• Embed rigorous safety, quality, and regulatory compliance systems across all operations to safeguard our people, clients, and reputation.

Desired Skills and Experience

What You Bring (Skills & Experience)

• Proven years of experience in senior executive leadership within hospitality, contract catering, or large-scale food service, expertly steering complex multi-site operations.
• Tertiary qualifications in Business or Hospitality (or equivalent executive experience), backed by strong culinary knowledge and operational credibility.
• Exceptional P&L financial expertise, paired with persuasive communication, negotiation, and executive coaching abilities.
• Resourceful, action-driven, and resilient leadership style with the strategic foresight to navigate complex, fast-moving operational environments.

Key Stakeholder Relationships

• Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team, Support Departments, and frontline staff to build a high-performance, positive culture and achieve business plan targets.
• Build enduring relationships with clients, industry networks, and brand partners to retain current contracts and secure strategic growth opportunities.
