About the role

The Head of Strategy and Performance is a senior Investments leadership role accountable for shaping, governing and advancing the Fund’s Investments Strategy and translating it into clear priorities, disciplined execution and measurable portfolio outcomes.

The role leads the Strategy and Performance function within Investments, including strategic planning, portfolio insights, investment proposition, research and consultant relations, and leadership-level investment communications. It also acts as the spokesperson for the fund on Investments with various external stakeholders, while bringing a whole-of-Investments perspective to complex issues, strengthens the Fund’s investment narrative and external standing, and ensures senior decision-makers have the insights, frameworks and materials required to make effective strategic choices.

Key to your success will be your;

• Extensive senior leadership experience in investment strategy, institutional investment, portfolio strategy, asset consulting, funds management, superannuation or a comparable financial services environment
• Demonstrated ability to lead strategy functions, strategic planning cycles or enterprise-level initiatives in a complex investment or institutional environment
• Strong understanding of portfolio performance, investment governance, market dynamics and the strategic drivers of member value
• Strong external stakeholder presence, including experience engaging with research houses, asset consultants, advisers, partners or other sophisticated investment audiences
