We are looking for a creative, organised and hands‑on Marketing Manager to take ownership of the marketing across our established Gold Coast tourism and watersports brands.

\n

This role is available on either a full-time or part-time basis , and we are open to discussing a flexible arrangement with the right candidate.

\n

This is a varied role combining marketing strategy, social media management, content creation, digital campaigns, industry partnerships and customer experience . You’ll be just as comfortable planning a campaign or EDM as you are heading out on the water to capture content, speaking with customers or assisting the operational team during our busiest periods.

\n

We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys creating engaging content, understands how to market experiences and ideally has a love for the water, outdoors and the Gold Coast lifestyle .

Key Responsibilities \n

Manage social media across multiple brands and platforms, including Instagram, Facebook and TikTok

\n

Create engaging photo and video content for social media, advertising and digital campaigns

\n

Attend tours, activations and events to capture on‑location content

\n

Film and edit short‑form video content, including Reels and TikToks

\n

Plan and manage social media and content calendars across multiple brands

\n

Develop creative campaigns around seasonal periods, events, promotions and business priorities

\n

Create and coordinate EDM campaigns and database marketing

\n

Develop marketing campaigns focused on increasing brand awareness, engagement and bookings

\n

Maintain and strengthen relationships with tourism partners, hotels, industry organisations and other key stakeholders

\n

Coordinate influencer, creator and brand collaborations

\n

Identify new partnership, promotional and cross‑marketing opportunities

\n

Manage website content, promotions and general digital marketing updates

\n

Create and coordinate digital and print marketing collateral

\n

Assist with paid social media and digital advertising campaigns

\n

Monitor marketing performance and use insights to continually improve campaigns

\n

Coordinate photography, videography and other creative assets where required

\n

Maintain brand consistency across all marketing channels

\n

Work closely with management and operational teams to promote new products, experiences, offers and events

Customer Experience & Operational Support \n

As part of a busy tourism business, flexibility is an important part of this role.

\n

Particularly throughout summer and school holidays, you may be required to step into customer‑facing and operational duties alongside the wider team. This may include:

\n

Assisting customers at the front desk and providing a high level of customer service

\n

Managing bookings and becoming confident using our booking and reservation systems

\n

Answering incoming phone calls and customer enquiries

\n

Assisting with booking changes, general enquiries and customer communications

\n

Supporting the operations team during busy periods where required

\n

Being involved in the day‑to‑day operation also gives you first‑hand insight into our customers, experiences and products, helping you create more authentic and effective marketing.

About You \n

You are creative, proactive and highly organised, but most importantly, you are someone who is willing to get involved.

\n

You’ll ideally have:

\n

Previous experience in marketing, social media, content creation or digital marketing

\n

Strong content creation skills, particularly short‑form video

\n

Confidence filming and editing Reels and TikToks

\n

A strong understanding of social media trends and what makes engaging content

\n

Excellent written communication and copywriting skills

\n

Experience with EDM and email marketing platforms

\n

Strong relationship‑building and communication skills

\n

Confidence managing multiple brands, campaigns and deadlines

\n

An eye for photography, videography, design and branding

\n

Experience using Canva, Meta Business Suite and similar marketing tools

\n

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills

\n

Confidence communicating with customers both face‑to‑face and over the phone

\n

The ability to learn booking systems and operational processes

\n

Strong attention to detail and time management

\n

A flexible, team‑focused attitude with a willingness to assist outside of traditional marketing duties when the business requires it

\n

Experience within tourism, hospitality, events, lifestyle or adventure marketing would be highly regarded.

\n

A love for the water, boating, watersports or the outdoors would also be a big advantage - this isn’t a role where you’ll spend every day behind a desk.
