The NPC further develops their advanced skills and knowledge to the extended clinical practice standards of an NP under the immediate clinical supervision (whether direct or indirect) of an NP or medical officer. This role will provide clinical expertise, education and consultancy to patients within the Paediatric Diabetes Service under mentorship and within the Nurse Practitioner Candidate's scope of practice, utilising researched based practice to provide contemporary primary health care and chronic disease management to improve patient outcomes.Please refer to the attached role description for how you will be assessed and the key capabilities of the role.Mandatory Requirements:Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with a current annual practicing certificate is mandatory. Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager, prior to the commencement of clinical duties.This position requires the incumbent to be enrolled in a Master of Nurse Practitioner course (or equivalent) and maintain passing grades during employment within the NPC position.
