Investment Analyst/Associate - Global Private Credit (Sydney) \n

Our client is a leading global private credit fund, backed by some of the largest global pools of institutional capital. The team writes financing solutions for middle-market and large-cap sponsors and corporates across leveraged buyouts, growth, refinancings and recapitalisations, investing sector-agnostically. Deals are typically $200mio+ though the team retains the flexibility to pursue smaller high-conviction opportunities.

Key Responsibilities \n

    \n
  • Conducting detailed business due diligence and evaluating opportunities to form a recommendation to senior members of the team
    • \n
  • Building financial models and undertaking detailed valuation analysis for new and existing investments
    • \n
  • Negotiating documentation with counterparties
    • \n
  • Preparing and presenting materials to the investment committee
    • \n
  • Engaging directly with management teams and key stakeholders
    • \n
  • Monitoring the portfolio and broader sector trends
    • \n

The Ideal Candidate \n

    \n
  • 1-5 years' experience in direct investment (private credit, private equity or infrastructure) or in leveraged finance, M&A or direct investments at a top-tier investment bank
    • \n
  • Excellent modelling and quantitative ability
    • \n
  • Strong written and verbal communication, comfortable forming and presenting a view
    • \n
  • Genuinely passionate about investing and eager to learn
    • \n
  • Able to run multiple live processes at once, proactive with sound judgement
    • \n
  • A team player with a strong work ethic
    • \n
