Position: Events Sales Coordinator
Location: Head Office, Flinders Street, Melbourne
Working Hours: Monday to Friday

Are you passionate about providing top-tier customer service? Do you thrive in a dynamic sales environment? We are seeking a dedicated team member to join our Events and Functions Department. As an Events Sales Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and ensuring seamless coordination for our clients' functions and events.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service through telephone and email sales interactions.
• Manage existing client relationships while cultivating new accounts.
• Promote our services and products, upholding the highest standards of professionalism.
• Respond promptly and efficiently to phone and email inquiries.
• Maintain accurate database and file management.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and effective communication with clients and team members.

Requirements

• Experience in events, functions, and hospitality beneficial.
• Demonstrated proficiency in phone sales within the functions sector.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with booking systems is advantageous.
• A degree in Tourism is advantageous.
• Exceptional time management and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, especially during peak seasons.
